While it all started on a high for the Princess of Wales as she entered with her husband while donning a dazzling Alexander McQueen gown, people saw her taking part in something that they were not quite prepared for. This had to do with her outfit only which was not quite on par with tradition and values of the Royal family.

So many royal fans from all over the world thought they could spot her marking the grand occasion with a tiara on her head.

But she defied all of the odds put up against her and ditched those fancy ancient jewels for something more modern and subtle. And that included a silver bullion, that comprised of silver and crystal threadwork. It similarly featured embroidery and 3-D leaves. All in all, it was a beautiful affair.

Kate appeared elegant in a beautiful ivory crepe silk gown. that featured iconic motifs that were again in line with royal tradition.

This included daffodil, shamrock, and ivory motifs that again, were in line with the tradition. All that was missing was the tiara.
