Russia claims that it has begun withdrawing some of its troops from Ukraine.

According to local media reports, this is being looked upon as the first sign of a major climbdown as US intelligence claimed that all of the country’s units were currently in attack position.

Moreover, other intelligence reports went about claiming how the invasion was most likely possible by the end of the week while others stated that an inevitable attack could come as early as Tuesday.

But now, many are questioning the Russian leader’s decision of doing so, adding how it could potentially be deception or perhaps one step back from war.

Russia says that it has already begun withdrawing troops from the Crimea and Ukraine border, right after completing its training drills.

Meanwhile, reports from Moscow have gone about suggesting how military exercises and drills will continue to take place despite the units being loaded upon trains and sent back home.

But this message stands in great contrast with the severe intensity of warnings that were sent out by Washington overnight regarding how troops were actually moving one step ahead and closer towards the border.

“They are being mobilized out of their assembly positions and into their attack positions”- revealed one intelligence member.

Today, Russia’s foreign ministry has gone on to seize that particular message, accusing the West of spreading lies and false propaganda.

In the same way, the country’s foreign minister also spoke about how there was plenty of proof that all Western efforts were working towards avoiding war. But they did speak about how the withdrawal may not be all that it appears to the masses.

Whether or not this is going to be a potential climbdown by Russia and Putin, only time can tell, as the world waits anxiously.
