It was a dramatic moment in Ukraine’s history as drones were seen pounding into a massive Russian oil refinery recently.
According to local media reports, drones were seen flying at an awfully low-level height as they made their way into the country’s Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
The horrifying video shows the massive sounds of the explosion where a huge fireball was created in the aftermath as the drones pounded the mega location.
Flames were quickly seen arising from the building and then all of a sudden, a huge pile of black smoke arose from a number of key strategic sites.
The exact location was identified as the Russian region of Rostov which is said to hold borders with Ukraine.
Russian workers were also seen in the horrifying footage who began to film the incident that really took so many of them by surprise.
Some were seen laughing while others feared for their lives as massive drones flew right by them.
After the giant vessels struck the refinery, a number of workers were heard swearing because the magnitude of the devastation was something that not too many people were expecting.
The moment after that, firefighters and paramedics were seen rushing to the scene of the tragedy as they tried their best to battle the massive blaze with huge plumes of black smoke making it difficult for them to see and breathe.
It’s shocking for the country’s air defense system to fail to pick up the signal of alarming threats and danger as the incident is being described as destruction being done on a large scale.
The drone was described as the UAV PD-1 or PD-2. But some reports claim that it was only one of the two variants described that actually slammed into the building.
