Russians are stocking up their fridges with McDonald’s after the popular fast-food chain announced its decision to temporarily suspend operations in the country.

But the abrupt news of all 850 stores being shut down until further notice as foodies around the country going insane. And that’s why it was absolute mayhem in Moscow as drive-thru lines to the restaurant extended for a mile as many couldn’t wait to get their hands on their last Big Mac.

Now, reports have confirmed how plenty of Russians has stocked up their fridges with treats from McDonald’s. Moreover, some have even tried to make the most of this incident by purchasing in surplus and selling Big Mac meals for nearly $330!

Yes, we kid you not on this one. And while it might sound ridiculous to many, for others, it’s a necessity.

Clearly, the eatery’s decision to ban its operations is being protested around the nation as so many hearty fast food lovers claim they’re ‘not lovin it!’

One such Russian citizen has come forward and revealed how his fridge is packed with a surplus of McDonald’s burgers amid the news of the restaurant’s closure.

Think along the lines of around 50 burgers from McDonald’s being piled in excess which barely leaves any room for the citizen’s groceries and he does not seem to mind.

So many Russians were so desperate to have one final taste of their beloved Big Mac while others stated how they didn’t agree with Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine and hence were being forced to pay for his actions and decisions.

One social media user gained plenty of fame when he shared an image of his friend’s huge stock of McDonald’s being piled up inside his fridge. And the caption included, “McDonald’s is permanently closing in Russia, and here is my friend’s stash.”
