Elon Musk may be the Chief of Twitter but he’s definitely not being loved by audiences in the US.
The billionaire was recently left ‘red in the face’ after being invited to Dave Chapelle’s show. The host introduced the world’s richest man on stage but neither of them was expecting to get the not-so-warm response that he did.
The audience savagely booed Musk to such an extent that he really was left embarrassed and red in the face. And in the end, it looked as if this was going to be a hard pill to swallow.
There was a massive chorus of boos all around and they were coming from all directions it was hard to pinpoint who exactly it was that detested Musk the most.
The show was held at the Chase Center in San Francisco where both boos and jeers rang out the entire time that the Twitter CEO stood on the stage. Chappelle tried to laugh it off and calm the situation by telling Musk he may have fired one too many people that ended up here in the audience.
Clearly, the idea of Musk being a special guest on the platform did not go down well last night.
The businessman was definitely not happy. He was not only shellshocked at the rude welcome and hostile reception but was definitely left speechless in the place that many referred to as Twitter’s headquarters city. Most people were just so silent on the stage and he literally had to ask the host what he should be saying after this.
The footage was circulated all over social media on the very embarrassing moment granted to the CEO who literally produced a storm in the brief ordeal during the helm by ridding the majority of his own employees.
