A loving and doting father has reportedly passed away under the most tragic circumstances.
According to reports from local media outlets, the dad died while saving two young kids from death at the State Park Lake in Pennsylvania. And now, his loved ones are shedding light on how he was the most excellent dad that anyone would ever come across.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Marvin Alexan Chicas who drowned on Thursday while rescuing two young children, sources have now confirmed.
The kids happened to be swimming at Tohickon Creek at the State Park. Things went out of control and they started to yell for help. The loving father saw this taking place and decided to jump in and rescue them, putting his own life at risk. But little did anyone know about the outcome.
Authorities claim that swimming is prohibited in such dangerous areas to the extreme depths of the waters. But the kids still were seen enjoying some water fun before things got out of control real quick.
The victim was a native of Honduras and now, loved ones are trying to raise enough funds by setting up a GoFundMe account to help send his remains back to his native country where his mom resides.
His loved ones claim the loving dad happened to be performing his usual duties at a nearby horse stable. But then all of a sudden, he heard the sounds of yelling kids and knew that something was wrong.
Therefore, he sprung right into the action, despite the young ones being complete strangers to him. But who knew this would be the start of his end in this world?
It’s now being confirmed that the loving dad did not even know how to swim. But he someone managed to get the kids to safety but drowned himself, in the end.
