Actor Bradley Cooper just ran out of a press conference while promoting his latest film Maestro.
The star exited from the high-profile event that took center stage in New York during the afternoon hours of Thursday.
It’s been confirmed that the actor’s daughter had an emergency at school and therefore the school nurse ended up calling him to bring something urgent to his attention. Therefore, the dad who is known for his caring and loving nature did not even waste a second before making a quick running exit.
Cooper shares joint custody of his daughter Lea with his former lover Irina Shayk. And despite the star being actively engaged in promoting his next big film Maestro, nothing comes between him and his child, an insider source has confirmed.
The star was reportedly ten minutes into the conference when he suddenly had to rush out quickly. In that particular film, he is known for playing the role of a leading music composer as well as a conductor named Leonard Bernstein.
When he reportedly stared at his phone, he mentioned, ‘So sorry but I am going to have to leave. The school nurse has just contacted me. It’s urgent and I needed to run’- he explained before leaving with his team of bodyguards.
But the star was courteous enough to take permission and request if he could first leave the room for a bit and attend the call and then make the final decision to leave after hearing what was being told to him regarding his daughter’s health.
For now, no details are available as to what sort of health emergency the daughter had but her school was nearby, with some sources citing it to be just a ten-minute walk. So far, no comments have come from the star’s reps despite several requests generated on the matter.
Fans were quick to praise the star online and others felt he was an ideal role model for a father after showing that family comes first, no matter what.
