Ukraine’s President Zelensky addressed his war-torn nation from the streets at dawn after a giant missile from Russian forces struck a residential tower.
The President appeared confident and zealous as ever, adding how he and his nation managed to survive another night despite the massive explosions and gunfire taking place.
Similarly, the President spoke about how Russian occupiers failed to seize the capital city of Kyiv, boldly proclaiming that they managed to break their idea.
The news comes as the noose tightens around Kyiv after the civilian death toll in the Ukrainian nation hit 198 people and a massive missile struck a giant residential block too.
While state officials have confirmed that the horrifying attack on the apartment left no fatalities, the severity of the incident could not be underestimated.
The missile struck at a tower that was located near the Zhuliany airport, leaving a huge hole in the aftermath that covered around five different floors. In the same way, terrifying images showed great severity as the entire side of the building was damaged due to intense destruction as rubble could be seen flying across the street.
On the other hand, a barrage of cruise missiles was also being launched by Russian forces, aimed directly at Ukrainian facilities owned by the military to try and weaken their positions, confirmed reports.
Officials from Ukraine revealed how Russia was currently failing at admitting the truth regarding how civilian infrastructure was not their main target as recent incidents led to massive civilian casualties.
In total, around 40 sites were struck and 198 have died, which include three children too as Russian forces begin to attack the pro-western nation of Ukraine, as mentioned by the country’s health minister.
“The hands of invaders have ended up killing around 198 people while more than 1115 people were wounded. This includes 33 children”- he concluded via a post on Facebook.
