CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins is going public with what she feels was a fake image produced by US President Donald Trump that showed Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s hand tattoos.
Speaking more on the subject, she says that the administration failed to cover up their mistakes and instead tried to shift the blame by claiming he was indeed a gang member, thanks to the body art picture they found.
Radar Online shared how the president published a picture through Truth Social that claimed his left-hand tattoos were proof of his involvement in a gang.
The tattoos featured a marijuana leaf, a cross, a skull, a face, and a code word of MS-13. These were printed across the knuckles in the picture.
On Friday night’s edition of CNN’s The Source, she asked for a source and the authenticity of the post shown by Trump, as this was just not enough.
The network’s anchor mentioned, ‘I don’t think they can do a lot of explaining here. They found the letters MS-13 on his hand, so they are now going to allege that he is a part of the notorious gang.
She also slammed him for using an edited image, and that was not the way to go about any situation.
Many experts agreed that the image was indeed doctored, and the administration had plenty of explaining to do here, as this was not right. “You cannot throw him in the world’s worst prison and say that it was a mistake and then turn back and say that he deserves to be there on the basis of his tattoos’- she continued.
