Sharon Osbourne’s son has spoken out and shared a health update about his mother.
Last Friday, the 70-year-old British-American TV star was rushed to the hospital after suffering a “medical emergency” while on the set of her new show.
According to the reports, Sharon was filming an episode of Night of Terror in Santa Paula, California, when she suddenly fell ill for undisclosed reasons.
While the details surrounding her sudden hospitalization still remain a mystery, Sharon has now returned home and is “doing great” according to her son Jack.
“OK here is what I’ll say – first things first MY MOTHER WASN’T FILMING A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha,” Jack wrote in his post before explaining that the family is not yet ready to disclose the nature of Sharon’s illness.
“Now that we have made that clear… She had been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.”
Jack continued: “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”
Sharing a message to her supporters and well-wishers was also Sharon herself who wrote: “Thank you for all the ❤️.”
The family’s message comes just moments after TMZ revealed that Sharon was working on her new paranormal show near Santa Paula’s Glen Tavern Inn when she suddenly fell sick.
After the first responders arrived at the scene, the TV personality was rushed to Santa Paula Hospital where she remained until her discharge.
