Brooke Shields is opening up about her personal life like never before.
The celeb shared during an interview how terrible and hurt she feels when she sees the way her career began at such a young age, thanks to her mother.
She slammed her parents for finding it okay to have her wear such skimpy attire, share kisses with a much older actor, and even be n*ked in some scenes as her role demanded that.
She felt so sad that a parent couldn’t decipher right from wrong, especially considering how she was a minor at the time.
The clip from her recent documentary raised eyebrows as the star says her mom’s true intentions are questionable. “I was a child and a child should never play such intimate scenes”- she continued.
The discussion arose after she entered into the industry with the movie Pretty Baby, where she was playing the role of a child escort.
Today, Shields says she is mortified that she had to kiss a much older actor named Keith Carradine who was 27 at the time. Throughout the filming, she confirmed that her mother was the one guiding her and cheering for her.
“She used to say that it’s all make believe and would encourage me to do it. It’s sad and disgusting and I wish someone would have stopped her”- the star continued.
