Crazy Town’s lead singer Shifty Shellshock has reportedly passed away at the age of 49.
According to reports from local media outlets, the leading maker of the song Butterfly died on June 24 as confirmed by a medical examiner located in Los Angeles.
The shocking news has left fans and loved ones puzzled and in mourning as heartbreaking tributes for the star started to take place on social media.
At the moment, no direct cause of death was revealed as many await the results of the autopsy carried out recently on the star’s remains.
But it was confirmed that he did suffer from substance abuse over the years and that just made things so much worse for him and his loved ones.
His battle with overdose was best known by those close to him and his addiction is speculated to have taken a toll on his life in the end.
In the year 2012, his abuse was so intense that it landed him in the hospital and that’s where he struggled with his life after losing consciousness. He even entered into a stage of coma before finally coming back to his senses and getting released. But whether or not that is linked to his death years on cannot be confirmed yet.
