As America reels from the shocking news of former US President Donald Trump surviving a near-death incident in the form of an assassination attempt, news details of the shooter have emerged.
The Republican leader’s secret service snipers were able to blow the gunman’s head off, minutes after he struck bullets at the crowd and Trump, leading to the former getting injured while another victim losing their life.
The FBI confirmed how he was ID’d as a 20-year-old gunman who opened fire at Trump on Saturday, an incident that some are calling the most serious attempt to murder him since 1981.
His name is Thoman Matthew Crooks he hails from Bethel Park in Pennsylvania. He was a registered Republican who arrived at the rally for one mission and that was to take Trump down.
The shooter’s father was called in for questioning by the FBI but he was startled as to what in the world was going on as he supposedly claims to have zero clue about his son’s intentions and possession of weapons.
He had previously made a $15 donation to the liberal ActBlue political action committee on January 20, 2021, records proved.
The FBI failed to release more information as they called it an active and ongoing investigation.
