Comedian Bill Burr is raising his voice in favor of actor Johnny Depp as the star battles out a defamation trial with actress Amber Heard.
In case you weren’t already aware, the couple has opted to air their personal details in the public eye and it’s safe to say many have gotten to know more details about their relationship than they originally anticipated.
At the start, we saw Depp being hailed as a wife-beater, thanks to Amber Heard’s accusations. But this around, it appears as if it’s Johnny Depp’s time to shine as the celeb has come forward with shocking evidence and testimonies, not to mention a strong lineup of witnesses who all go in his favor.
While the verdict is still not out yet, many critics believe Johnny Depp might be inching closer to victory. But again, only time can tell.
Just like the rest of the world, comedian Bill Burr is standing up for Johnny Depp not only because he is a fan of the man and his films but also because he feels the time has come to give him some credit.
Burr revealed how Amber Heard’s fans had a mega responsibility on their shoulders right now. They should be lining up to apologize, should she lose the case. And that’s because of the way they treated Johnny Depp, and also how badly he was bashed when it was not even his fault.
While it may sound impartial, considering he’s a strong fan of Depp, one thing is for sure. Amber Heard is responsible for the current state of affairs of Johnny Depp.
“She destroyed him and his career. She really has some guts”- he went on to elaborate.
