Taylor Swift’s first night in Brazil left fans devastated after a horrifying tragedy unfolded at the event.
One woman fainted and died after passing out due to extremely poor ventilation that even had the singer struggling for air. The shocking death of the concertgoer has left hundreds baffled at what went on last night while organizers were slammed for not doing enough to prevent the ordeal.
A sea of fans were left in the most dangerous conditions after standing in line for four hours to enter the stadium. But many were mortified to see the conditions where they were expected to watch the songstress sing and perform live for audiences across the board.
The woman who died was recently pictured and identified as Ana Clara Benevides. She had to be resuscitated at the venue for nearly 40 minutes. Meanwhile, as per reports from one media outlet in Brazil called Folha de S. Paulo, the young fan suffered a second cardiac arrest while on her way to the hospital, dying shortly after arriving.
Now, horrifying footage is making its way online where hundreds of fans are screaming for help as they struggle to breathe and therefore request water. As per recently published stats, 1000 fans passed out from suffocation.
The singer herself paused and tried to ensure all her fans were alright after the tragedy, passing out water bottles to everyone that she could reach out to on an urgent basis.
After the tragedy, other fans who happened to be there at the venue gave insights into the terrifying conditions through their social media accounts.
Images of Taylor Swift drenched in sweat could also be seen when she paused and attended to anyone she could reach out to.
“It’s very hot. So if somebody says they need water when it is this hot, then they need it!”- she ordered, making sure her team handled the situation better to avoid any more unfortunate ordeals.
Many called the conditions unsafe and very unbearable to tolerate, adding how hard it was to reach out for help as nobody was ready to assist.
