Prince Harry says he was stunned to learn that many people had issues with his respective ESPY nomination.
The news comes after the war veteran’s mother spoke out about the Prince getting an honor when it was her child who made the sacrifices during the Afghanistan war and ended up losing his life.
She added how Harry is not even a US national and hails from the US. Hence, it was confusing as to what basis or on what grounds he was provided with such an honor.
Harry has been reportedly stunned after all the negative backlash related to the matter as mentioned by the Daily Mail.
He received the nomination for the Pat Tillman Award for Service for his work on the Invictus Games.
Similarly, he was all set to make a grand appearance at the ceremony that will take place tomorrow. But it’s starting to get more controversial by the minute.
Many feel the person for which he’s being honored gave up his football career to serve in the armed forces and then lost while fighting for the country in Afghanistan during the brutal war.
And now, the royal is being honored for a reason that not a lot of people quite understand. What do you think?
