Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens tied the knot in a romantic ceremony over the weekend.

The 26-year-old Olympic gymnast and the 27-year-old NFL Star got married In Texas on Saturday, just over a year after their Valentine’s Day engagement.

“I do. Officially Owens,” Simone captioned her post as she announced her marriage to her longtime partner and shared a series of beautiful photos from their ceremony.

In one photo, the couple is seen holding hands in unison in front of a minister. In another, they are seen sharing a passionate kiss while the athlete is leaning back and holding a white bouquet in her left hand.

The first picture shared by the Olympian shows the pair smiling from ear to ear while exiting the venue. In the photo, Simone can’t keep her eyes off her husband as he throws his right arm up in the air victoriously.

Uploading the same photos to his social media platforms was the NFL player who shared the following message: “My person, forever.”

The exchanging of vows comes just a week after Simone and Jonathan got their marriage license in Montgomery County.

Simone previously opened up about her chance meeting with the NFL star on an exclusive dating site back in 2020.

“He would say I slid into his DMs. I saw him and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s pretty cute,’ so I said hi. And then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later,” the gymnast admitted in a candid interview with Wall Street Journal.

Two years after kicking off their relationship, the pair got engaged and Simone held a stunning bridal shower, photos from which she proudly shared on her Instagram account.
