JUST IN: Sinead O’Connor Gave Her Children ‘Specific Instructions’ On What To Do In The Wake Of Her Death


Reports have revealed that Sinead O’Connor had given her children specific instructions on what to do in the wake of her death.

The ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ hitmaker died at the age of 56. She is survived by her three children – Jake Reynolds, 34, Roisin Waters, 27, and Yeshua Bonadio, 16.

Her second son, Shane Lunny, died at the age of 17.

Only two years ago, the singer had revealed that she discussed her mortality with her children since they were ‘very small.’

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, she said that her main priority in death was to protect their finances and also her work, so she wanted her children to call her accountant first before emergency services.

“See, when the artists are dead, they’re much more valuable than when they’re alive,” she said during the interview.

“It’s kind of gross what record companies do.”

O’Conner revealed that she told her children to call her accountant first in the event of her sudden death as she wanted them to “make sure the record companies don’t start releasing my records and not telling you where the money is.”

Her heartbroken family confirmed her passing on Wednesday after she was found ‘unresponsive’ in her home in London.

In her last video shared on social media, the mother said she felt at ‘home’ in London before giving fans a tour of her apartment.

She even apologized for the mess and said that she had Vaseline on her face.

In her video posted on Twitter, O’Conner briefly commented on the tragic death of her son, Shane, saying: “Unfortunately, your kid passing away, it isn’t good for one’s body or mind.”
