Singer Harry Styles was recently hit in the eye by an overzealous fan while performing on stage.

According to reports from local media outlets, Styles was struck directly in the eye by an overexcited fan who found it all right to randomly throw skittles at his face.

One of them struck the eye directly and it caused the singer to blackout, leaving him with his hands in the air as a signal to stop. Styles could then be seen covering his eyes as it did manage to affect him greatly.

As you can imagine, other concertgoers were not happy with the news and quickly because furious at the culprit. She was identified as a young girl who says she was only having fun and didn’t mean any harm.

Seeing the pieces of candy come raining down on his head on the stage, moments before it struck his eye really had people in shock. The footage is now going viral as we speak.

The 28-year-old celeb was seen putting his hand on his eye and then bowing down. And the news comes at a time when the star was forced to reschedule his entire concert plans due to the fact that he was suffering from an illness.

After finally returning, this was the sort of warm welcome that he got and people were not happy about it.

In one of the clips, he is seen turning his face toward the camera and signaling to organizers that he can’t go on. And the fan who did manage to capture a bird’s eye view of what happened revealed that it really ruined Styles’ entire performance and so many people like him were not happy for obvious reasons.
