‘Daring’ Nuns From ‘Sisters of Life’ Go Sledding In NYC As Historic Snowstorm Kenan Blankets The City


What would you do if your car got stuck in one of the country’s wildest snowstorms?

Well, if your answer was panic, then you might want to take a few pointers from these nuns who made the most of their snow-filled adventure.

The nuns from ‘Sisters of Life’ made sure they enjoyed Storm Kenan to its absolute best by indulging in a full-filled snow sledding affair.

The group of nuns claims their snow flying adventure in Central Park was an absolutely breathtaking experience as many other citizens are daunting the thought of getting out of their homes in this blizzard weather.

New images released featured the three sisters in their white attire and snow boots. They could be seen sitting down on a circular sled as one of them gave the other two a push.

The sounds of squealing delight could be heard while they dashed downhill, tumbling towards the bottom.

One of them could also be heard mentioning ‘OK to baptism’ as one of them cheerful claimed that the memorable ride was over.

Sister Magdalene who is known as the local superior mentioned how they opted to venture out towards the Park after realizing how they would not be able to move from East 66th Street towards the crisis pregnancy center that’s located in Lower Manhattan.

“It was so hard for us to come out of our vehicles due to so much snow. There happened to be so many other cars stuck and that’s when we thought why not go sledding,”- she explained.

As a whole, the nuns described their adventure as a lot of unexpected fun and have even gone as far as keeping their sled close by at the center for other similar days like these.
