Terrifying reports are speaking about the exact moment at a giant Boeing 737 passenger jet overshot the runway and stopped a few yards short of plunging into the sea.
Horrifying footage from the incident shared showed the DY430 approaching the runway in Molde on the northern shore of the Peninsula in Norway and then veering off it shortly after it landed with great speed.
The flight made a horrifying landing after it set off from Oslo during the latter part of the afternoon.
The domestic flight took around 45 minutes and departed by 6:19 pm which was an hour later than it was scheduled. The weather conditions were outlined as adverse.
The Boeing flight stopped just short of the runway and if horrifying scenes unfolded, it would have plunged into the icy sea that surrounds most of the airfield.
The 11-year-old Boeing jet came towards the end of the runway, and passengers cried as they saw the horror moments from their windows.
All passengers and crew members remained safe and were evacuated with the help of slides as an emergency was declared shortly after landing. Emergency services rushed to the scene and one rep for the low-budget airline shared how there were 165 passengers and 15 crew on the plane at the time.
