Ever since the dramatic Oscar slap incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock, it now appears so many people are interested in the actor’s relationship with his wife.

And that’s exactly why old video footage continues to resurface, time after time, and this next one is no exception.

Will Smith was called out by his own wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, for organizing his wife’s 40th birthday and spending 3 years doing it.

In the old video, Mrs. Smith revealed how it was the lowest point in her life to see her husband display his giant ego in front of the world.

Speaking during an episode of the Red Table, she revealed how the birthday was the major turning point in her relationship with her husband and ultimately led to her having an extramarital affair with her mom Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

“I was turning 40 and instead of it being the happiest moment of my life,  I was actually having a major mid-life crisis”- she continued.

And that’s when Will agreed that it was a major low for him too.

The actor who shares a daughter and son with his wife explained that he spent a good three-year-long period planning the extravagant bash. He even went into the shocking details of hiring a mega party planning team for the huge event, when she turned 37, to make sure everything was perfect.

But to his dismay, Jada revealed how she felt it was the most ridiculous thing that she had ever heard of and a true display of the giant ego he had.

“I know I was doing it more for myself and less for her. It is true, it was not a party for her- he continued.
