Actor Will Smith has confirmed that he was reportedly spat on by a fellow co-star while filming on the set of his movie called Emancipation.
The celeb mentioned how it was not something that he or anyone else saw coming. But this was the reality of the situation, whether he liked it or not.
The news has spread like wildfire online, with so many people curious about who exactly it was that could have been involved in this fiasco. Moreover, the fact that Will Smith specifically outlined that the actor involved was a male took a lot of people by surprise.
Smith could be seen making his way to the 14th annual African American Film Critics Association Awards during the later hours of Wednesday. This is where the star was all geared up to accept his award.
The actor says Emancipation was the most individual difficult film of his entire career. He claims that it was awfully difficult to transfer any modern mind to such a time period.
He also said that not only is it impossible to transport a modern mind there but it’s also hard to imagine anyone living in such a period.
This is the point in time where Will managed to gather some strength and detail more about the incident. He claims that it’s bizarre how so many people think his job is easy when in all reality, it’s far from that.
In the same way, the celeb added how it was awfully difficult for him to shoot in scorching temperatures. As he did his line, he opted to spit right down the middle of his chest.
But the spit did not happen once, it reportedly happened twice.
And it’s just appalling how Will Smith decided to keep calm because, after the second take, the director was nice enough to mention, let’s do another one but without the spit this time. And that is when Smith knew that God had taken over and made the right decision in his favor without the actor doing anything.
