The most dramatic moment in the history of the Academy Awards took place yesterday when Will Smith marched on stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock for joking about his wife’s shaven head.
But comedian Tiffany Haddish reveals how she was super impressed and proud of Will Smith and their actions, adding how it was the most beautiful thing that she had ever seen in her life.
Moerover, the celeb was also quick to mention to PEOPLE magazine that it was the highlight of her evening and meant the world to her as an unprotected woman.
“I have been unprotected for quite some time now. But for someone to get up and have the courage to tell another man to quit taking my wife’s name in your mouth or leave my wife alone is just so magical”- she continued.
The actress/comedian continues to ramble about how it’s every man’s job to protect and love their woman and seeing that happen on a live broadcast in front of the world was just so special for her.
The actress is said to have starred alongside Jada Pinkett Smith in the film Girls Trip and she continued by mentioning ‘how the world may not like how it really went down in the end. But for her, it was the most beautiful thing that she had ever seen as she feels there is still hope for good men in this world.
“There are still some good men out there in this world. They love, care, and cherish their wives as they should”- she concluded.
