A middle school in South Carolina is making the headlines related to a harrowing incident.
A 12-year-old schoolgirl was reportedly forced to hang herself after getting bullied by her classmates.
The physical and mental abuse was just too much for her to bear, sources revealed. Other reports spoke about how the victim was rushed to a nearby ICU to get immediate medical attention.
But her mother says that even then the bullies showed no remorse or guilt for what they had done to her.
They managed to sneak into the hospital’s ICU and took images of her getting mocked on social media.
As per the lawsuit, Kelaia Turner is only 14 but the pain she went through was so drastic that it severely impacted her mental health. She remained in a coma for weeks after suffering significant brain damage.
When she was in the coma, one of the bullies made their way inside and clicked snapshots of her in that intubated condition. The images are now going viral on social media with fake rumors about her injuries making their way to different platforms, the lawsuit adds.
