Cori Broadus has spoken out and shared a health update after suffering a severe stroke.
The 24-year-old daughter of the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has announced she has finally been cleared by the hospital to return home after suffering a massive stroke.
Just one week after the health emergency, Cori confirmed her kidneys and chest had returned to normal, prompting her doctors to allow her to return home and resume her everyday life.
“My ct scan of my chest came back normal and I’m going home today I can prolly cry omgggg,” the young lady wrote on social media.
Thanking her fans for their support, she added: “Thank you thank you for the continuous prayers, love etc.”
The fortunate health update comes just days after Snoop Dogg put on a brave face as he was asked about his daughter’s condition while attending the Underdoggs premiere.
“She’s doing a little bit better,” he told the reporters.
Last week, on Sunday, Cori first broke her silence about her health scare saying she was in recovery from the stroke.
“God is working overtime you hear me! My kidneys were doing terrible…doctors came in this AM and said they are improving so much,” she shared.
Three days before that, Cori shocked her followers on Instagram by revealing what had happened to her on Thursday morning.
“I had a severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when they told me,” she shared. “Like I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
Our thoughts remain with Cori as her recovery continues.
