Snoop Dogg has shared a sweet message with his longtime friend Martha Stewart as he launched his own ice cream brand.
The 51-year-old rapper came up with a variety of flavors such as Iced Out Orange Cream, Rolling’ In The Dough, and Bonus Track Brownie as he launched Dr Bombay Ice Cream – a line of ice cream named after the singer’s Non-Fungible Token character.
The new and undoubtedly delicious ice cream will become available across 3,500 stores starting this August 1.
“I give two people credit for where I’m at right now. Master P showed me the business. But Martha Stewart showed me how to take it to another level,” Snoop Dogg told TMZ as he thanked his fellow rapper and his close friend.
Martha and Snoop became unlikely friends back in 2008 after the rapper appeared in her cooking TV show and the two hit it off.
“She was always explaining to me about being in different department stores, having a cookbook, expanding my business, doing different things to diversify my portfolio,” the Lay Low hitmaker added.
“She showed me how to excel at what I’m doing. Master P put me through college but I believe that Martha gave me that hands-on experience.”
Snoop previously also opened up about his friendship with Martha as he said he loves how it “unites people of all walks of life.”
“Once we got together, you’ve seen that people love people. That’s one thing about me and Martha’s relationship that I love is that it unites people of all walks of life,” he said in an interview with TMZ.
“They see two people that genuinely love each other and care for each other and that makes the world feel the same way. You can love somebody no matter where they from, what color they are, where they were raised.”
