Actor Matthew Perry’s close pal is stirring up a new controversy with his remarks about the late Friends actor.

The news comes after the celeb’s autopsy reports confirmed how his death did occur due to excessive levels of ketamine inside his system, similar to those witnessed inside a surgical patient.

His friend added how the star lied about being sober and struggled with so many of his addictions. In the same manner, he just found it super hard to keep up with being sober.

He also shocked many by alleging that the actor was never clean and that no matter how hard he tried, he just could not maintain his streak.

Perry who played the leading role of Chandler Bing in the hit series Friends died inside his hot tub that was located at his Los Angeles home. He was 54 at the time of his death and was discovered underwater by his assistant.

While there was no foul play mentioned in the reports, it was shocking to see the large infusion of drugs including ketamine that were found in the system.

The medical examiner’s report shed light on a host of factors that caused Perry’s death. This included his coronary artery disease, drowning, and drugs used to treat his opioid addiction.

But other reports released at the time spoke about the star being sober for a whopping 19 months. However, his friend has denied that. He claims it’s very tough to mention this out in the open but the star was manipulative when it came down to the subject of him using substances.

He struggled big time and his fight against things like addiction was a huge struggle and ended up being a battle which ultimately resulted in his loss of life, he continued.

Matthew was very open about his struggles in his memoir which was published before his death. It’s sad but he spoke about ketamine in detail and how it was a breath of fresh air for him, helping him in more ways than one. But little did anyone realize that it would end up taking the star’s life in the end.
