Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly forced to sit in the second row for the Queen’s funeral, leaving many viewers baffled about what was happening.
According to local media outlets, seeing the live ceremony be broadcasted on millions of viewers’ television screens left a lot of questions in people’s minds as to why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were told to sit in the second row.
Others felt the decision was not only wrong but extremely disrespectful. Meanwhile, quite a few others felt that her Majesty would have been upset seeing this because she adored her grandson to bits.
A few called out the royal family for failing to show unity during events like this, and then a couple also added that it might have been done intentionally to keep the drama away.
“This is what you call a tremendous piece of theater. I am still trying to work out why they would all end up doing something like this!” added another furious viewer, and the comments continued to enter just like that.
Seeing a former rugby player be given the privilege of sitting in the front and Harry in the back had a lot of people in shock, and they just wished things didn’t have to be this way.
“They’re signaling him out because of Meghan Markle. She’s the drama queen, and her husband is now being forced to deal with the consequences,”- added another.
It was also quite interesting for so many others to watch people like Zara Tindall take the front-row seat with her husband, despite them being non-working royals.
“He’s the King’s son, for God’s sake. Have some respect, people!”- added another, and many people couldn’t agree more with the statement.
