Actor Tom Hank’s son is speaking out about his personal life and some of his confessions are shocking, to say the least.
Recently, Chester who is one of Tom Hank’s children revealed how he never had any strong role model during his childhood and that’s why he is the way he is.
On Tuesday, the celeb’s son revealed through his YouTube Channel what it was really like to be a 31-year-old son whose father is such a big name in Hollywood.
In addition to that, Chester stated in detail about the great disregard he faced from his friends because so many people perceived him as a spoiled, arrogant, and entitled child.point 270 |
But in reality, the star’s son said that he never really had a strong role model to look up to during his younger years and that’s why he may come off that way.point 140 | 1
“No one ever told me to relax or how so many people will rub you the wrong way because they’re jealous”- he explained.
Chester said that people envied him because he had all the things that they could never have and that’s why they used to throw shade on him.
“I was resented because my father was such a huge name and also because he had won so many Oscar awards”- Chester mentioned.
But the Empire star did not stop there. He mentioned how so many people used to make up their minds about his personality, even before they had met him.
Chester who is commonly referred to as Chet is Tom Hank’s third child and his first kid with his wife Rita Wilson. Other than him, Tom Hanks has three other kids, two of which arise from his previous marriage.
In the end, Chester did admit how much he adores and cares for his parents but being a celebrity’s kid in today’s world is definitely not easy, adding how the pressure is immense as so many people expect you to be a certain way.
