Amy Schumer is making headlines for cyberbullying leading actress Nicole Kidman.
The comedian who is known for her bold jokes is really having the last laugh this time after she was seen making fun of Kidman during her appearance at the US Open.
But not a lot of her critics found her joke to be funny while the actress is believed to be unfazed by the behavior.
Schumer was called out by critics for going too low with her jokes in an attempt to be extra funny but what she ended up doing in reality was attacking the actress for what she was wearing. And that isn’t something that sat down well with netizens.
After realizing her mistake, thanks to the heaps and mounds of criticism from viewers, the star was forced to make a public apology. But it doesn’t seem to have fallen well on the actress who appears to be ignoring the incident and is simply too busy to notice such acts like these.
The comedian who hails from the US made fun of the Australian superstar by reposting one of her looks from the recently held Tennis Tournament. This is where Kidman can be seen flaunting the color pink and staring wide into the camera. Moreover, her hand was kept right below her chin as she watched the women’s singles final with absolute joy.
But below the image, Schumer tried to be cheeky and wrote, this is how humans sit. And while quite a few fans did get the humor part of it and took it lightly, not everyone was in favor of the joke that they felt was distasteful and unnecessary.
The star’s apology also had a twist to it, where she mentioned how she would be asking others to write a message of sorry for her, followed by a hashtag that stated, taking time out to heal.
