One family is revealing their utter heartbreak and devastation after a loving father suddenly passed away.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the dad died from sepsis after noticing a particular spot on his leg.
Brett Dymond reportedly began to experience hallucinations and deteriorated in a matter of days. But the real shock of the entire ordeal came when he noted a black spot on a leg.
On that note, he opted to visit the doctor who diagnosed it as a flesh-eating bug. Loved ones claim that he and so many others did not take the news lightly and knew that it needed immediate medical attention. But little were they aware of the fact that it could take his life in the end.
The 38-year-old reportedly started to feel so unwell after he noticed the spot on his leg. He wondered what exactly it could be. But little did he know that it would take his life.
That particular spot slowly began to swell to a huge size. And the bigger it got, the more he started to feel so unwell. “It got so big, we were so worried and he was too”- his loved ones unveiled.
His wife Charlene was seen sending out details on the matter. She says she noticed how her husband’s condition was deteriorating with time. And she knew she had to think quickly on her feet before it was too late.
So she immediately called up 111 rescue services. This is where she was told to go to the hospital as her husband’s condition was serious.
Upon reaching the hospital, she was informed about how her husband had contracted necrotizing fasciitis from an open wound. She was stunned at how this could happen so suddenly.
Since the sepsis had spread to different parts of his body, he had very little time left to live.
