As per a report from top media outlet TMZ, the filmmaker ended up filing divorce papers on Wednesday stating the reason to be irreconcilable differences and that was the reason for the split.
While no date was provided regarding the separation, Janet was outlined to be breaking up with the 60-year-old celeb officially after years of issues that were not mentioned publicly. She is now similarly requesting for the court to end any liability of her husband from attaining spousal support.
The duo share one child together who is now 21 after first meeting in the year 1994. This happened to be on the popular Canadian hit series called Lonesome Dove. And that’s where Eric reportedly had his cameo as a rich Confederate officer. On the other hand, Janet was seen working as the show’s leading assistant director.
The star says he had just come out of a relationship at that time and was not even looking for love. But the couple clicked and just could not get enough of one another.
