Narcos: Mexico star Manuel Masalva is reportedly fighting for his life in an induced coma after getting infected with an aggressive strain of bacteria while abroad.
The 43-year-old star’s close friend Mario Moran shared how his startling condition has gone from bad to worse by revealing updates related to him on social media.
‘My brother is currently fighting for his life away from home!’- Moran shared in his Spanish post that was published on Thursday.
He continued to explain how the star played Ramon Arellano Felix inside the Narcos spinoff. This is where he fell victim to a very aggressive virus strain while traveling, although he didn’t specify where exactly the event took place. This led to an induced coma state, and till today, his state remains very delicate.
Masalva’s close pal later shared through a link on GoFundMe that he’s working hard to raise funds for the star and any other unexpected hospital bills that might be coming in his direction as he continues to fight for his life.
‘The medical costs are huge and in a nation where everything is new, it’s more difficult’- he continued. This is why he’s pleading fans to give whatever little they can, as that can make a huge difference at this very difficult moment in time. ‘We thank you all with our entire hearts!’- he continued to share.
