Taco Bell is certainly a favorite for many people and that includes those in the armed forces.
The hearty and comforting meal is something that really ticks all the right buttons and that’s why Army Ranger Lieutenant Colonel Robert Rizden can’t live without his go-to meal.
One fine day, he was seen ordering his dinner when he saw something that he knew he needed to do something about quickly.
There happened to be two young boys, aged just 9 and 13. They were all alone inside the restaurant where he was standing and were going from one table to the next to sell homemade desserts.
The boys were trying long and hard to raise some extra money for their local community church and that’s when the Lt. Col approached them.
He looked at the two of them and realized quickly that they were cold and hungry. He asked if they needed something warm and if they received any meal. Shockingly, their answer was no. Since he didn’t have much cash, he asked if he could buy them anything on the menu.
While apprehensive at first, they said yes and suddenly there was a huge smile of glimmer and hope across their faces. They were so happy that they were going to bed tonight with a full belly.
A witness from across the table decided to record all of this and today, it’s the most heartwarming incident to date.
