The A-list star was blasted by irritated and furious cab drivers who felt the actor was taking advantage of his great fame and fortune to try and act like he could do anything and everything. And if that meant holding up traffic on busy streets for his own reasons, then so be it.

But after realizing that the matter was getting out of hand, Cruise decided to take a step back and leave immediately before the crowd behind him mustered in strength, probably giving rise to a not-so-friendly encounter with upset cab drivers who questioned if the star owned the streets.
