The Screen Actors Guild Awards just took place on Saturday and some of the highlights for the evening included legendary Barbara Streisand receiving an accolade for her achievement.

The leading celeb of the entertainment industry was seen smiling and overcome with emotion as she took to the stage to accept the honor.

But while doing so, it was evident that she was just too overcome with feelings of happiness and gratefulness and it just got the best of her.

The celeb just found it so hard for her to speak and that’s when the announcer for the category, Jennifer Aniston, rushed on over and gave the icon a big hug and some words of encouragement about how she could do this.

Streisand accepted the great accolade by mentioning how she was so glad that she had the honor of seeing all the biggest names of the industry cheer her on and how she had never in a million years accepted something like this to occur.

The 81-year-old entertainer had brought many to their feet and tears. She just found it hard to utter a few words in her speech and she took a moment to soak it all in before adding how she does not know what she did to accept something like this.

“It is an honor and I still dream about those days when I wanted to be a star and now that I am here getting this, it’s beyond magical”- she concluded.
