Former ‘World’s Strongest Man’ Eddie Hall has made a heartbreaking announcement concerning his family and his unborn child.
According to the 35-year-old British strongman, who won the title of the World’s Strongest Man in 2017, he and his wife Alexandra lost their unborn baby girl just over a month after they announced the pregnancy on Halloween.
In a tear-jerking statement, the couple wrote: “Unfortunately we have lost our unborn baby girl. Personally we don’t want to talk right now, share too much, and don’t want to pick it apart.
“There is no right way to deal with these things, only the way you choose to. Our hearts are exhausted and talking isn’t going to change anything or bring her back.”
Eddie also shared the same photo he and his wife shared back in October as they announced their family was expecting another member.
“We hope that enough people see this to prevent us having to have this painful conversation in person,” the post added.
“Right now we are taking some time alone to recover. Thank you for understanding, Alex and Eddie.”
Eddie and Alexandra currently share two children including son Maximum, 11, and a baby girl, 5 months. The strongman, who is also known as The Beast, also has another child from his previous relationship.
The 6ft 3in powerlifter recently admitted to losing 84 pounds saying his weight “agitated” him because he was unable to perform basic tasks such as school runs efficiently.
Our thoughts remain with Eddie and Alexandra during this challenging time.
