A tesla owner says he was left beyond stunned after being locked out of his own car.
The thought of paying so much for an electronic car and then being told you’d have to spend a whopping $26,000 for a new battery had him beyond furious.
The owner named, Mario Zelaya, who hails from Canada, took to his account on TikTok to mention the entire situation. He slammed the company for releasing such horrifying products that give you nothing but stress in return, despite being priced at a staggering $140,000.
“Please, I beg you not to invest in a Tesla. It’s a piece of trash; it just automatically locked me out when the battery died!”- the owner explained in a horrified tone.
The video was captioned, “$26,000 for a new battery. And then you are locked out of your vehicle. The firm needs so many recalls,”- he continued.
Mario, the car’s owner, added that after this incident, he has opted to sell his luxe vehicle because investing in a staggering $26,000 better does not seem to fit him.
“I’d much rather buy a better car than this. Who does this!”- he went on to complain in his now-viral TikTok video, which has since enmassed massive online popularity.
As it is, things are not looking good for Tesla. Many customers have been voicing their concerns about the company that’s under the ownership of Elon Musk.
Just last month, a group in Norway even threatened to go on a hunger strike to voice their frustration against the firm.
This particular Tesla owner had contacted another and claims to have encountered the same problems. So as you can see, it’s not just one incident that has people thinking twice about where Tesla developers may have gone wrong, but plenty of others too.
Hence, we hope Tesla starts taking notice before its popularity goes down the drain.
