You may have come across some very interesting travel stories about people refusing to swap seats but this next one is unique, to say the least.
One male passenger is getting a lot of praise after he reportedly refused to get up and swap seats with a pregnant woman.
The female behaved rudely and expected him to get up and move, only because she was carrying an unborn child and therefore needed to make frequent visits to the bathroom nearby.
While the act might seem a little selfish to some, you’ll be astonished to realize that he was indeed praised by the majority who felt he did the right thing by standing his ground and not giving in to her demands.
Putting his side of the story on the popular social media app of Reddit, went on to reveal how baffled he became when he learned about her desires.
He says that he paid extra money to get not only the aisle seat but one that was super close to a restroom nearby.
“Right after we boarded, she came to me with her hand on her belly. She said that she needed to be near the restroom and therefore I should get up and switch seats with her. But I thought that was ridiculous, not to mention unfair. I politely declined and she started to get rude to me”- he added.
He agreed that she was pregnant but she was not in some kind of distressed state that would force her to be seated so close to the restroom. Therefore, he refused and was praised for it by other passengers who agreed with his beliefs.
However, some women online argued how traveling and being pregnant are just a distressing situation to be in. And when flight attendants also refuse to assist in such conditions, there are not a lot of things that the woman can do. What do you think?
