Traveling is all about having a blast until you meet some very unruly passengers seated right next to you, and they just might turn your flight upside down.
A passenger has left netizens divided online after sharing how he refused to swap seats so that a mother could be seated with her toddler.
He explained the last thing that he was here to do on the flight was accommodate others with their needs and demands. He was baffled as to why anyone would even have the audacity to ask him for the request, stating boldly how it was a lot to ask.
In another post, sources were quick to mention how his debate started an entire thread on the Reddit app where people started to have their say on the matter.
This was because his response was said to be a little harsh, considering how there was a child on board. Moreover, he asked the mom why she would expect a stranger to cater to her needs of giving up his seat for the sake of her preferences.
“It’s just so baffling how all of this went down. I could not say yes. She wished to take my window seat because her child was in the center. It did not make sense to me why I was the only one expected and asked to change when others were sitting by my side”- the unidentified trans-pacific passenger went on to add.
After refusing to change, he was appalled at the audacity that the mom had. She called him out in front of others seated with him and that made him very upset.
“If you wished to sit with your child, perhaps requesting for the seats to be together while booking or paying a little extra would have helped. Please do not label me as someone heartless because you couldn’t get your way”- he further continued.
“Hell no, I am not here to take anyone’s tantrums. You need to understand that having a seat of your choice comes with a little sacrifice. And if you chose to make it, instead of acting like you’re so entitled, it would be better for you and your child”- the unidentified passenger continues.
