A top swimming instructor is shedding light on some very important information regarding why parents should never invest in blue-colored swimming attire for their little children.

The news has shocked a lot of parents around the world, including those that thought they knew it all but this news opened a lot of people’s eyes and minds while making a new purchase for the little ones.

Research proves that most parents never give the color of swimming costumes for kids a second thought. They usually go for the one that looks the most esthetic on their child or one that their child might be fond of in particular.

But now, a top leading expert says that is not the right way to go about the situation. And she’s issuing a warning against the blue hue. And here’s why.

“Please do your child a favor and don’t buy blue bathing costumes”- this is what her post mentioned in bold terms and was uploaded on social media.

Nikki Scarnati explained how difficult it becomes to supervise children in the water with such attire. So when you buy bright colors, the chances of something going wrong in the water are far less than when you’re buying the color blue.

To further prove her point, the famed swimming instructor could be seen mentioning how she carried out an experiment with her daughter in her backyard pool.

She made the little child wear a blue bathing suit and led her swim under her supervision. It was clear that the blue became camouflaged with the water and the pool’s color. And hence, it was hard to spot the child.

The instructor clarified how she does not allow her child to wear blue at all and bought this bathing suit specifically to prove her point.

And it was evident that when underwater, her daughter could no longer be seen, serving as a huge health and safety hazard for parents of their little ones.
