A swimmer from Brazil who was reportedly kicked out from the grand Olympics event after sneaking out of the village has now broken her silence.
Ana Carolina Vieira and Gabriel Santos were found sneaking out to enjoy the nightlife in Paris, but little did they know that their small mistake would cost them big time.
Ana was banished from the Olympics and sent on a flight back to her hometown in Brazil. This was right after she had crashed out of the freestyle relay on Saturday.
Brazil is currently number seven in the women’s second heat. Meanwhile, this incident is said to have taken place when the 22-year-old left the village without getting permission.
She assumed that it would be okay but she was certainly wrong, her team’s coach mentioned. And if that was not bad enough, she was said to have misbehaved with the management who wasted no time in sending her back home on the next earliest flight.
Now, the star swimmer is speaking through her Instagram story, adding how she did nothing wrong to be treated like this. She has also opted to file a legal complaint of harassment and bullying.
