BREAKING: Climate Activists Target ANOTHER Art Masterpiece With ‘Mash Potatoes’ Before GLUING Themselves To The Ground


The climate activists seem to be getting out of control recently as another group was witnessed targeting a stellar masterpiece painting by Claude Monet called ‘Les Meules’.

The famous artwork reportedly sold for a staggering $110 million in the year 2019 but seeing it be attacked by German protesters has left a bad taste in so many people’s mouths.

At this stage, it’s still not clear to authorities to what extent the multi-million dollar painting was damaged but it was definitely covered in a huge pile of greasy mashed potatoes by the looks of the viral images that are resurfacing online.

The incident follows a mega string of similar events that have been taking place back to back across Europe. Just last week, the famous Van Gough painting called Sunflowers was reportedly covered in tomato soup and today, it’s mashed potatoes.

After conducting the brutal act against the painting that was reportedly auctioned off for $110 million in 2019, the activists could be seen gluing themselves down to the ground. But the authorities did manage to make it in time for the arrests.

Climate demonstrations have been taking place and just yesterday, France’s car dealerships for Volkswagon and Ferrari were also attacked. The individuals tried to hold giant banners across luxe vehicles and even glued themselves down to the floor while others were seen with their glued hands against the vehicles.

This time around, it was the Letzte Generation group who claimed responsibility for the brutal act, and they are believed to have entered the museum during the evening hours of Sunday donning high-vis jackets. This was right before they suddenly approached the expensive artwork and started slamming it with bowls of food.

According to the activists, they feel the time has come for society to understand the dangers of climate change, and the only way they can get people’s attention is through means like this. What is worth more, art or life?”- the post on Twitter read.
