Taylor Swift was pictured in high spirits as she was seen leaving her New York recording studio with her new boyfriend.
The 33-year-old pop superstar publicly confirmed the rumors of her romance with the 1975 frontman Matty Healy during her Nashville concert earlier this month.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, the singer was madly in love with the British musician who has allegedly been very supportive of her work.
Now, on Monday, the couple were seen walking out of the Electric Lady studio after a night of making music and partying.
While walking towards her car with Healy by her side, Taylor couldn’t hold back her smile. She wore a purple NYU sweater over a black mini skirt while her boyfriend was dressed all in black.
Seen leaving the studio were also some of the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker’s best friends including Florence Welch, Margaret Qualley, and Jack Antonoff. Adam Goldberg and Kendrick Lamar also appeared to have joined the party.
As one source told Page Six, Swift and Healy were “cuddling and kissing” inside the lounge before leaving the venue surrounded by security.
The sighting comes shortly after a source told The Sun that the two musicians were madly in love and determined to make their relationship work despite their busy work schedules.
“She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out,” an insider claimed.
“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover. Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
The source continued: “They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away.”
