Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement plans have been revealed after rumors that the NFL star was ready to propose over the holidays.
Sources previously suggested that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was gearing up to propose to the pop star during the festive season. Fresh rumors, however, imply that the pair decided to hold off the engagement so that they wouldn’t be accused of “rushed insanity” after just months of dating.
According to The Messenger, the hot new couple now has no plans to rush their engagement despite growing very close to each other in recent months.
“There are no plans for an engagement anytime soon. There is no engagement at this time,” a source told the publication.
Nevertheless, the insider insisted the relationship is much more than just a fling and that things between Taylor and Travis are “serious.”
“When they are not together, they are constantly FaceTiming and texting. Friends around them think it is very cute and they are a great match.
Taylor is having a lot of fun with the wives and girlfriends in the league. Brittany Mahomes has welcomed her with open arms and has really been the ring leader merging Taylor, her friends, and the girl groups together,” they added.
“It is a new era for Taylor, and she is loving this season of her life. It is very different from her normal group of friends but they have all been having a great time going to the games and bonding together. Taylor has really had an open mind to this new world, and the girls think she’s really enjoyable to be around.”
Meanwhile, another source told PageSix that though the engagement had been delayed Kelce could be planning to propose this summer after the two get to know each other a bit better.
