Swimmer Ryan Murphy was seen getting an Olympic medal for his great performance for Team USA but that’s not the only thing he was celebrating that night.
The star swimmer from America celebrated another great personal gain and that was in the form of a gender reveal of the baby that he’s expecting.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to confirm that he’s expecting a baby in the next few months. And there’s nothing he could be more proud of than being a girl dad, he confirmed.
The double celebration had fans go wild as loved ones arrived with giant posters that read, ‘It’s a Girl!’- a truly one-of-a-kind gender reveal.
Murphy managed to score the bronze medal for Team USA in the 1oom backstroke on Monday night.
He looked up directly into the stands and that’s when he saw the great news. His wife had tears in her eyes and she was so grateful to have this chance to share the glad tidings with him.
‘I was walking back around and that’s when I saw Bridget with this huge sign in her arms. It read, Ryan it’s a girl!’- he continued.
He explained how this was the first time that he realized that he was having a baby girl and nothing made him happier than this.
