A very emotional King Charles was seen making his long-awaited return back to public-facing duties today and it’s safe to mention that it was not easy for the monarch to hold back his tears.
The King gave an update regarding how he was feeling and how he became so overcome with emotion when he was given the green signal to do what he loved, and that was related to how much he adored serving his nation.
The King was accompanied by his Queen Camillas as the pair paid a visit to the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Center located in London. This was designed to help staff members, as well as patients, meet the King as doctors revealed how positive they felt about his treatment going strong.
Charles was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after undergoing a routine examination. It’s not yet revealed how and to which extent to cancer has spread while speculation in the past ran strong in terms of how it was serious.
The King not only appeared so relaxed and calm throughout the evening but also was smiling with tears in his eyes as he greeted patients, telling them that they were not alone in this. He was given a short briefing about the latest treatments and also met plenty of staff members along the way.
