A heartbreaking incident is speaking about the death of a teenage hockey player who died during a charity event.
High school senior Connor Kasin passed away tragically at the Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center in Bethpage New York.
The event was meant to honor a late student but who knew that the program itself would end in another shocking and heartbreaking tragedy?
The sudden and shocking death of Kasin has left the entire community in sadness. He was a well-loved individual and a leading hockey star at the Massapequa High School.
During one intermission match, he lost consciousness on the ice and then was immediately provided CPR by paramedics. The cops also responded quickly to the emergency to make sure the victim could survive.
Despite all the swift actions in place to save him, he was soon pronounced dead at a local hospital. The real cause of death is yet to be laid down but as per authorities, there was no criminal activity suspected in this unfortunate event.
The family has been receiving condolences from all over after this incident including the school’s superintendent who hailed the student’s efforts in honoring another one of his own.
