Tragic reports are speaking about a family’s outcry for justice after their teenage daughter was murdered days before Christmas.
The family is currently requesting more transparency in the investigation that involves the 17-year-old high school cheerleader being stabbed to death before the holiday.
The victim was identified as Angelina Camillia Gonzales and now the family says they are certain that it was her former lover who is to blame for the harrowing tragedy.
Gonzales’ family explained to local media outlets recently how the former lover picked her up from a cheerleading banquet and brought her back to his home on December 20.
It was about 10 pm that night when officers found the teen suffering from stab wounds. Therefore, she was rushed to a nearby local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The family also shared how one of them could track Gonzales’ phone and her former lover’s home as per KABC. When the stepdad arrived there, all he saw was a forensic tap and different stuff.
He ran towards the officers to inquire more about what happened. That’s when they told him to sit aside as the findings were not pleasant.
“I told them that she’s missing and I’m looking everywhere for her. Can you please tell me where my daughter is!”- he cried. The stepdad also spoke about how he warned his stepdaughter to stay away from her former lover but she had the biggest of hearts and always saw the good in people, no matter what.
